Turkey stocks lower at close of trade

Losses in the sectors of sports, transport and wholesale and retail trade led to fewer stocks, and for this reason, Turkey’s reserves were lower after closure on Friday.

Near Istanbul, BIST 100 fell 0.47%.

Aselsan Electronic Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: ASELS) added 6.61% or 1.17 points at the end of 18.87 and Kerevitas Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: KERVT) rose 5.19% or 0.08 points to 1.62 in late trading. The best performers at BIST 100 were Ittifak Holding AS (IS: ITTFH), which increased 8.46% or 0.550 points to trade at approximately 7,050.

Polisan Holding AS (IS: POLHO) dropped 5.74% or 0.140 points to finish at 2,300 and Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS: GSRAY) dropped 4.86% or 0.09 points to 1.76. The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Gayrimenkul Proje Gelistirme ve Ticaret AS (IS: IHLGM), which fell 6.45% or 0.060 points to trade at 0.870 at the end.

Shares in Ittifak Holding AS (IS: ITTFH) rose to five-year levels; up 8.46% or 0.550 to 7.050.

In commodity trade, crude oil for distribution in June dropped 0.06% or 0.04 to catch 62.83 dollars per barrel, while the July oil contract Brent fell 0.83% or 0.60 to trade at $ 72.02 per barrel. Silver gold on delivery of June was down 0.70% or 9.05 to $ 1277.15 a troy ounce.

USD / TRY rose 0.19% to 6.0529, while EUR / TRY rose 0.16% to 6.7603.
